Sky Tallone

With over 18 years of film and video production experience, I've worn many hats-- behind the camera, in front of the camera, operating the camera, post-production, and producing videos independently. During my time as a film student at the Academy of Art University and after, I worked freelance in San Francisco in film and video, occasionally traveling down to SoCal for specific projects.

Now located in the Central Valley, I've been the full-time video producer for the Yosemite Community College District, producing hundreds of videos for Modesto Junior College and Columbia College. I still produce videos freelance, with recent clients such as Stanislaus State University, Merced College, San Joaquin Delta College, Vintage Faire Fit Body Boot Camp, and Modesto City Schools.

I'm still active in the independent film community, and have fallen in love with the Central Valley and Modesto during my time here. I'm the organizer of the Central Valley Filmmaker group, which collaborates with entities like The State Theatre and the Modesto 48 Hour Film Competition to support the arts and our local filmmaking community. I recently completed my MFA in Screenwriting, have placed in multiple screenwriting competitions with my most recent feature-length screenplay, and continue to make short films with our local film community. Whether it's film or video, I'm always driven by a passion for storytelling.
